How to set up Coveron?

Setting up Coveron is a straightforward, guided process designed to protect your identity and finances. Your insurance is active the moment you subscribe — complete the guided verification to unlock full monitoring and alerts.

Set up Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Coveron offers Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as an added layer of security to help protect user accounts. This feature safeguards against unauthorized access, ensuring only authorized users can log in, making it an essential tool for strengthening overall security. 

If you wish to unlock full monitoring and see full alert details, set up your MFA by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Coveron account. You will be directed to log in via Nord Account, as it connects your subscription to your account.
2. Next, press the "Verify your identity" button located on the bottom-left side:
   
   
    
3. Select the "Enable MFA on Nord Account" button:
   
   
    
4. Afterward, follow the further steps in our guide on how to set up MFA on Nord Account to complete the MFA setup.

Verify your identity

Verify your identity and unlock your protection. Identity verification is a one-time process that confirms you're the rightful owner of the identity we're protecting. By securely matching your details, we can safely activate your credit monitoring and other protection services — and make sure your sensitive financial information is only ever shared with you. It's a small step that keeps fraudsters out and your protection fully active.

If you wish to verify your identity, follow these steps:

1. Once the Multi-factor authentication process is complete, log in to your Coveron account again.
2. Next, press the "Verify your identity" button located on the bottom-left side:
   
   
    
3. The "Verify your identity" pop-up window will appear. Make sure to have your ID ready and turn off the VPN if it's enabled:
   
   
    
4. Afterward, click on the "Verify your identity" button:
   
   
    
5. Select the "Checkmark" button to confirm that you accept Coveron's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and give permission for Coveron to manage your personal information:
   
   
    
6. Click on the "Continue" button:
   
   
    
7. In the next window, enter your First name, Last name, date of birth, and, optionally, your Middle name:
   
   
    
8. Click on the "Continue" button:
   
   
    
9. Afterward, enter your Address line, State, City, ZIP Code, and, optionally, your Address line 2:
   
   
    
10. Click the "Continue" button:
    
    
     
11. Next, enter your Social Security number (SSN) and confirm it by typing it once more:
    
    
     
12. If you wish to double-check what you have written, click on the "Reveal data" button:
    
    
     
13. Click on the "Continue" button to proceed:
    
    
     
14. Enter your Phone number and Email address:
    
    
     
15. Click the "Continue" button to proceed:
    
    
     
16. Select which verification method you would like to use by clicking the "Text me" or "Call me" buttons:
    
    
     
17. Afterward, enter the verification code you have received via text or call:
